Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

At Squadev, we are committed to delivering high-quality software development, web development, design, and digital technology services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which cancellations and refunds may be requested and processed.

By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Services Covered

This policy applies to all services provided by Squadev, including but not limited to:

  • Website Design and Development
  • WordPress Development
  • Custom Software Development
  • Web Applications

  • Website Maintenance
  • Technical Consulting

3. Project Cancellation

Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project before any work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment made, less any applicable payment processing charges that cannot be recovered.

After Work Has Begun

Once project work has started, refunds are determined based on the amount of work completed.

The following may apply:

  • Discovery and planning work already completed is non-refundable.
  • Design work already completed is non-refundable.
  • Development work already completed is non-refundable.
  • Any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf are non-refundable.

If only part of the project has been completed, any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting the value of completed work.

4. Milestone Payments

Projects are typically divided into milestones.

Payments made for completed and approved milestones are non-refundable.

If a project is terminated before completion, the client is responsible for payment of all completed milestones and work performed up to the cancellation date.

5. Digital Products

Where Squadev sells downloadable digital products, templates, plugins, themes, or software licenses:

  • Refunds are generally not available once the product has been downloaded or access has been granted.
  • Exceptions may be made if:
    • the product was not delivered,
    • the wrong product was delivered,
    • or the product contains a verified technical defect that cannot be resolved.

6. Subscription Services

For maintenance plans, hosting, or recurring subscriptions:

  • Customers may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellation stops future billing.
  • Payments already made for the current billing period are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

7. Client Responsibilities

Refund requests resulting from delays caused by the client may not be approved.

Examples include:

  • Failure to provide project requirements
  • Failure to provide content
  • Failure to provide approvals
  • Extended communication delays

8. Failure to Deliver

If Squadev is unable to deliver the agreed services due to reasons solely within our control, we will provide one of the following:

  • completion of the agreed work,
  • a partial refund, or
  • a full refund,

depending on the circumstances.

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:

  • Completed development work
  • Approved design work
  • Consultation services already provided
  • Domain registration fees
  • Hosting fees
  • SSL certificates
  • Third-party software licenses
  • Payment gateway setup fees
  • API usage fees
  • Any third-party expenses incurred on behalf of the client

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Refunds are generally processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

11. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with:

  • Your full name
  • Company name (if applicable)
  • Project or invoice number
  • Reason for the request
  • Supporting documentation, if applicable

Refund requests should be submitted via email.

12. Changes to This Policy

Squadev reserves the right to update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and become effective immediately upon publication.
